People Who Have Taken Video Games Too Far

The gaming industry has become one of the fastest-growing industries both financially and socially in today's technologically advanced world. We've all probably played video games at some point. I, like the majority of people, adore playing video games. According to studies, video games are among the best methods to relieve stress. But Every coin has two faces and so does the gaming industry. It also negatively affects people like us, especially kids. Along with advantages, it does have numerous backdrops as well. We'll go through this topic in three parts-

=========================================================================

1.  Bad Habit of spending money

2.  Influence violent behavior

3.  Things people have done for a video game

=========================================================================

Bad Habit of spending money-

While playing video games, we've come across a guy who has really cool outfits at one point or another. Although it costs actual money, as humans we would also be tempted to purchase those clothes. The majority of us can afford it, but keep in mind that more than 50% of the gaming industry is made up of people under the age of 15. Where are they going to acquire the money?  Still, the gaming industry is not so popular in many countries so parents do not invest money in it. Stealing is the child's one remaining alternative. From here they have finally stepped into the world of crime and their spending habits are only about to get worse.

Influence violent behavior-

I am pretty sure that you must have come across cases in which children chose violence when they were asked to stop playing such video games. Numerous open-world or action combat video games in one form or another encourage violence. Young children's minds aren't developed enough to distinguish between a virtual reality game and a real-world when they play such games. Researchers have reported experimental evidence linking violent video games to more aggressive behavior. 85% of action games badly influence the mindset of children. A study shows that 94% of children become more aggressive while playing battle royal games.

Things people have done for a video game-

These are some hazardous things people have done for a virtual reality game:

1. When his family in Lucknow advised a kid to quit playing video games and concentrate on his education, the child attacked them. Luckily the family was rescued in time, but the kid ran away.

2. Three teens stole their parents' credit card and used it to purchase in-game cash worth over $45,000. This money was saved up by their father for their mother's cancer treatment.

3. Two brothers took a risky bet and spent almost $10,000 on an in-game gun skin. Unfortunately, they both committed suicide, out of fear that their parents would take action against them.

4. A boy was taken into police custody for trying to harm his elder brother as he defeated him in a battle royal game.

5. A teenager threw his mom's iPhone in the rage of losing a gaming round.

6. A 13-years old boy was blackmailed by online bullies and was forced to send 95000 rupees to them.

These are just a handful of the countless instances of children who have taken video games too far.

That concludes the blog for today. Please note that I am not advocating against playing video games in any way; rather, I am merely attempting to raise awareness of the potential for accidents if you are not careful enough. So be aware and responsible while playing video games.
